You get what you pay for is the operative idiom here. The app has some nice features, however the ads are annoying and distracting. Purchase the $2.99 version (which I have done) and these go away. Id have given more stars, but because the description did not mention ads, 3 stars it is.

The keyboard on the screen needs to be extended wider so that they look like an actual keyboard. With it cut off at only 1 octave it doesnt look like the keys you look at on your piano

Would be nice to give a good review, but this app is useless as the ad is always on screen and blocks the keys, and menus. Plus see know way to use the real piano.

Edit: I figured out how to calibrate the app so that it recognizes the way your own piano is tuned. Touch menu, then settings, then piano tuning. It still isnt working perfectly though, no matter how many times I try to fix it, it still thinks my A is a D.

As a piano teacher I am always looking for good sight reading games for my students. This is one of the best so far. I have tried it out on some of my students, and they all liked it. The scoring system is a plus, because it gives them a goal. The custom lessons give me the ability to tailor a lesson to a particular students needs. This is often not present in other games. So, well worth the $2.99!

This app might have potential but as soon as I tried to use a lesson the asked for $$$$$. Why lie and say its free? Do you think people are stupid and just because we download it we will now pay??? Deleting this app ASAP and will avoid apps from this developer in the future.

I took piano about 25 years ago. I play by sound now, but wanted to review the scales so I can help my kids learn both sight & sound. I practiced in the car while my daughter was at volleyball practice. In an hour and a half of doing practices 1 and 2 I was able to easily remember how to read the notes again. F A C E ...

Seems so close to being good but one major flaw... Im doing the first 2 lessons and when I guess the note the guy says its name and the letter flashes up BUT the next note is playing now which is VERY confusing.

My title made no sense but this app does. Definitely helps me learn my notes again. Hope it could go further dont know how though

Im learning SO much with this app. It helps me retain what in trying do hard to learn. Its just what I need to learn to play the Piano. Thank you for helping me learn faster:)

Im using this app as my anytime piano-teacher, and Im picking it up fast! I just wish that once I pay for it on my iphone, I could also download it on my ipad without paying twice. Great app though!

They need to have lessons for treble 6-7 octave, not just custom practice mode. It would also be good if they included the order of sharps and flats as practice on the key signature.
